Rihanna Set to Star in a Fashion Reality Show

Grammy Award winning R&B artist Rihanna has signed on to star in a fashion reality show on the Style Network.  "Styled to Rock" is set to premier in late 2013.  The series is a spin-off of the British version of the show, which Rihanna appeared on in the summer of 2012.

Rihanna will pick 12 designers who will compete each week to design the best look for a celebrity guest who will help determine which designers will make it to the next round.  Celebrity guest and fashion experts who will serve as mentors on the show have not been announced.  Rihanna is excited about the show and the opportunity to give 12 designers a platform to showcase their work.  She has also been named as one of the shows executive producers.

Prabal Gurung has been one of the most exciting designers to hit the American fashion scene since he launched his line in 2009. Gurung has quite the celebrity following. He has dressed First Lady Michelle Obama, and stars like Zoe Saldana and Ciara.
