Rihanna Set to Star in a Fashion Reality Show

Grammy Award winning R&B artist Rihanna has signed on to star in a fashion reality show on the Style Network.  "Styled to Rock" is set to premier in late 2013.  The series is a spin-off of the British version of the show, which Rihanna appeared on in the summer of 2012.

Rihanna will pick 12 designers who will compete each week to design the best look for a celebrity guest who will help determine which designers will make it to the next round.  Celebrity guest and fashion experts who will serve as mentors on the show have not been announced.  Rihanna is excited about the show and the opportunity to give 12 designers a platform to showcase their work.  She has also been named as one of the shows executive producers.

Charlotte Ronson is a born designer.  Growing up in New York gave her a unique sense of style at an early age.  Ronson launched her first collection, C. Ronson in 2000.  The collection received instant recognition, and in May of 2002 she opened her first boutique in New York.

Since then the line has been renamed "Charlotte Ronson", and has seemed to be a trendsetter for young, hip, and modern women.  Ronson is a fixture on the American fashion scene, and the brand is now known all over the world. She has also collaborated on several other lines with family members and friends.

Recently Jeremy Scott and Adidas teamed up for what could be one of the best sneaker collaborations ever.  Scott's style is over-the-top with tons of embellishments and bright colors, and he did not hold back at all when designing sneakers.

Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte was seen rocking a pair of Jeremy Scott's  red, white, and blue designs. However, he is not the only celebrity fan of the new kicks.  The Adidas as campaigns include Nicki Minaj, Derrick Rose, 2NE1, and singer Sky Ferreira.  The shoes are a must have for all sneaker lovers.

Rihanna Invades the British Fashion Scene

The Brits are really getting a taste of Rihanna's style. Not only is she producing a new British design competition show, Styled to Rock, she recently announced that she would also be launching a Spring 2013 collecttion for UK high street brand River Island. If the collection is anything close to her two Armani capsule collecetions, we are in for a treat.
